Peppa Pig Bus Tour in London: The Best High Tea with Kids!

The Peppa Pig Bus Tour by Brigit’s Bakery was one of the absolute highlights of our London city trip – for the kids and for us. This is a themed sightseeing tour focused on the youngest tourists, from the age of two.

Hi! I’m Helena, a cheerful thirty-something who loves exploring with her family.

The fun starts before you even board the bus

The excitement begins outside the bus, where you’re warmly greeted by the tour guide. She welcomed us with a big smile, helped everyone form an orderly line, shared practical information with each family, and gave every child an enthusiastic high five. While you wait, you can watch the staff setting up all the treats inside the bus. You book your seats in advance, so there’s no need to rush or compete for a spot.

High tea: warm scones and hummus dips

Once you’re seated, the staff ask what you’d like to drink. There’s a wide selection of hot drinks, and juice is provided for the children. While the bus drives through the city, a screen at your table plays fun Peppa Pig-style commentary. Everything is in English, so it’s helpful if you can translate here and there. But honestly, your kids will probably be too busy enjoying all the goodies to notice.

And there’s plenty to enjoy: savory bites, sweet cupcakes, cookies… Even our picky eaters found things they loved. We booked the 12:00 tour, assuming it would serve as lunch—and it absolutely did. In fact, there was so much food that we asked for takeaway boxes afterward. We filled two of them and continued enjoying the treats throughout the rest of the day. Also nice: the cute Peppa Pig cups the kids got to take home—a fun souvenir!

It’s not just eating and looking out the window: during the tour, there’s also singing and games. We hadn’t prepared for that, but it might be a good idea to listen to some of the Peppa Pig songs in English before your trip.

The Peppa Pig Bus Tour – Practical Info

Boarding point: Victoria Embankment near Somerset House, along the Thames.
That spot is perfect because there are public toilets nearby you can use before boarding. We headed straight there from the train station. It took us a minute to find the exact spot, but the easiest way is to walk along the Thames toward Somerset House.

We stored our luggage in a nearby shop—a reliable place we found using the Bounce app. Before or after the tour, kids can burn off some energy at the Victoria Embankment Playground, a small but lovely playground nearby.

Is it worth the price?

At the time of writing, tickets start at approximately £50 per adult and £40 per child. It’s not a cheap activity, but I found it totally worth the money. Afternoon tea in London is generally quite expensive, and this one comes with a truly unique twist. The rest of our London trip was more budget-friendly to balance things out.

💡 Money-saving tip: Check out Virgin Experience Days and search for discount codes online—that’s how we booked, and it worked!
We also happened to celebrate my birthday and our youngest’s during the trip, so we made the tour part of a shared birthday present.

Bonus tip
